WinLayer quickstart

The four things to do first—and why each one matters.

Your goal: teach WinLayer what your company can win, review the best contract matches, choose a pursuit, and turn it into an organized response plan. You can ignore the specialist tools until you need them.

The fastest route is Guided Plan. It combines the ranked recommendation, source evidence, Pursue/Watch/Pass decision, next capture action, First Outcome progress, and a transparent value ledger on one page.

  1. Set up your company. Open Guided Setup and add what you sell, your capabilities, target agencies, certifications, contract vehicles, and growth goals. This is how WinLayer learns what a good match looks like for you.
  2. Review matching contracts. Open Find Contracts. The match score explains how closely each contract fits your profile. The win-chance estimate helps planning, but it is not a guarantee.
  3. Choose what deserves your team's time. Pursue, watch, or pass after reviewing the evidence. Contracts you choose appear in My Pursuits; matches you have not selected stay outside the pipeline.
  4. Build the win plan. Use Build Response for capture artifacts and Tasks & Deadlines for owners, milestones, and delivery work. Record the final result so future recommendations improve.
